Crevasses
In that light I saw you there. In the dew cast upon the rocks, and green that grew on these walls. Sound is dominated by the water that falls from the depression. Flowing into the pool already forever deep, and echoing through these shadowed caves connecting Eden. The distance from the fall to the bottom is measured, but the bottom is endless, like old intimacy. And as faint sun blankets the walls of this palace, crystalline structures suspended bring me sleep. Sleep, as you once could. I have thrown myself into this chasm to find it. I will find the bottom that we once thought was endless.
